BREAKING NEWS: Lagos State To Introduce State-Owned Driver’s Licence
Lagos State Government has announced plans to introduce a state-issued driver’s licence in partnership with the Federal Government as part of efforts to improve road safety and traffic regulation across the state.
The Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, disclosed this on Monday during the 2025 ministerial press briefing held in Alausa, Ikeja.
According to Osiyemi, the proposed initiative will give motorists the option of obtaining either the existing federal driver’s licence or the new Lagos State-issued licence once the scheme becomes operational.…For more, Complete your reading.
