Phyna Acused VDM of Manupulating The Public Against Her As She Refuse To Sleep With Him’

Phyna, a former Big Brother Naija reality show winner, has accused popular Nigerian influencer, VeryDarkMan of manipulating the public against her because she turned down his sexual advance.

Phyna made the claim on Sunday in a series of posts on X, amid her ongoing online dispute with VeryDarkMan.

DAILY POST reports that Phyna had reached out to VeryDarkMan in 2025 to help get justice for her late younger sister, Ruth Otabor, who was hit by a Dangote Cement truck in Edo State.

Following VeryDarkMan’s involvement and Phyna’s outrage, Dangote Cement pledged to take responsibility for the accident victim’s medical care.

A few days after the development, VeryDarkMan withdrew from the case, claiming that Phyna went behind him to negotiate with the company.

Denying the allegation, Phyna accused VeryDarkMan of attempting to manipulate her sister’s case by turning the public against her and blocking her.

However, speaking about their fallout over the weekend, Phyna alleged that VeryDarkMan made sexual advances at her but she rejected him.

Sharing alleged chat evidence, the reality star vowed never to forgive VeryDarkMan.

“VeryDarkMan came out to say the opposite of what happened. I can never forgive him because he turned me into a bad person over my sister’s case. He is someone I held in high esteem, but he switched up on me. Claiming I requested N1 billion from Dangote.

” I was shocked because such a conversation never happened. Maybe he started holding grudges against me because he said he wanted to sleep with me and I didn’t accept,” she said.

FIFA are not looking to punish Argentina players who celebrated their 2-1 victory over England at the World Cup, with a banner referencing the Falkland Islands.

The UK Metro reports that this means the players are unlikely to be banned ahead of Sunday’s final against Spain.

Abiceleste were trailing in the semi-final clash until the 85th minute, when Enzo Fernandez cancelled out Anthony Gordon’s opener.

Lautaro Martinez then headed in Lionel Messi’s cross in the 92nd minute, to ensure they would have a chance to defend their trophy.

After the game, the Argentina squad and staff wildly celebrated on the pitch with a number of players posing with a banner which read, ‘Las Malvinas son Argentinas’, which translates as, ‘The Falklands are Argentine’.

Players including Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez, Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez and former Tottenham midfielder Giovani Lo Celso were among the players pictured holding the banner.

Article 34.3 of the World Cup rules prohibits the display of any political messages or slogans by players before, during or after a match.
