BREAKING NEWS: Lateef Adedimeji, Wife Disown Viral Triplets Photo
Nollywood couple, actress Adebimpe Oyebade and actor Lateef Adedimeji, have disowned a viral triplets’ photo.
This is coming a week after the couple announced the arrival of their triplets after five years of waiting.
Shortly after the naming ceremony on Thursday, pictures of the couple carrying the triplets surfaced on social media.
Reacting to the circulated photos in an Instagram post on Friday, Bimpe Oyebade tagged the viral pictures as AI-generated, noting that “all the babies pictures flying around aren’t our babies, please.”
She further promised to share photos of their triplets at the appropriate time. “We’ll share @etawithlove pictures soon.”
Also appreciating the public for their love and support, Lateef Adedimeji wrote on X, “Please note that the AI-generated baby photos circulating right now are not ours. Thank you for understanding.”

Adamawa State is Fully Set for Local Government Election
The Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission, ADSIEC, has indicated readiness to conduct election for chairmen of the 21 local government and councilors for the 226 wards across the state.
The election holds next month, June 13.
As part of preparations for the council elections, ADSIEC has held a meeting with chairmen of political parties at its headquarters in Yola, on the approved election time-table.
During the meeting, the Chairman of ADSIEC, Alhaji Mohammed Umar, stressed that ADSIEC has made adequate preparations to ensure success of the poll.
He reaffirmed that the election will be held on June 13, 2026, as earlier scheduled, and urged all political parties to guide their members towards participation.
This was as he announced that 11 political parties have submitted candidates for the polls.
Responding on behalf of the political parties, the representative of African Democratic Congress at the meeting, Mr. Adamu Usman, commended ADSIEC for its early preparations.
Also speaking, the Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Bello Babajo, called for a free, fair, and transparent election.

BREAKING NEWS: EFCC Declares Ex-Humanitarian Affairs Minister, Sadiya Farouq Wanted
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has declared a former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, wanted over alleged abuse of office and diversion of public funds.
This was announced in a notice shared via the agency’s official website on Saturday.
“Farouq, 52, is an indigene of Zamfara State and her last known address is EN008, Okpo River, off Agulu street, Maitama, Abuja.
“Anybody with useful information as to her whereabouts should contact EFCC offices,” the notice read.
Phone numbers through which the anti-graft agency could be contacted towards the arrest of the ex-minister were provided in the notice.
Farouq, who was appointed by late former President Muhammadu Buhari in July 2019, was the youngest minister in the federal cabinet during the administration.
DAILY POST reports that a Federal Capital Territory, FCT, High Court sitting in Apo, Abuja, had on April 16, 2026, issued an arrest warrant against Umar Farouq.
