Beware, Bandits Preparing to Attack on December 27th – Judd Saul Warns Plateau Communities
The Executive Director of the United States-based humanitarian organization Equipping the Persecuted, Judd Saul, has issued an urgent security alert warning some communities in Plateau State to remain vigilant against a potential attack by Fulani bandits on Saturday, December 27th, particularly at midnight.
In a post on his verified X account, Saul, whose NGO provides essential support and resources specifically to persecuted Christians in Nigeria, stated that he has privileged and authentic information indicating that the bandits have finalized plans to attack communities such as Kara-Bisichi, Rassa, and Mararaban Foron of Foron District, all in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area, as well as Latyi of Du District and Kuru in Jos South LGA.
In the post, Saul noted that the bandits had initially planned simultaneous attacks on these communities on Friday, December 26th, but postponed them and are now preparing to carry out the attacks on December 27th.
“People of these communities and surrounding areas, such as Latyi of Du District in Jos South LGA, Rassa village of Foron, Mararaban Foron, and Kuru, should be on high alert on December 27th, especially at midnight, because Fulani bandits and terrorists are planning a massive attack,” Saul wrote.
This is not the first time Saul has raised such an alarm. On December 14th, he warned of planned Christmas Day attacks in several Plateau State communities, notably in Riyom, Bokkos, and Barkin Ladi local government areas.
He also lamented that his warnings of planned attacks by bandits and terrorists in the state, especially during the Christmas season, were dismissed by Nigerian authorities and security agencies, who branded him a liar and an alarmist bent on creating chaos.
In the security alert, Saul stated:
“They are gathering forces around the Plateau-Nasarawa border, along the Nasarawa-Benue border, and along the Nasarawa-Kaduna border. They are planning to strike on Christmas Day in Riyom, Bokkos, and Barkin Ladi.
“We received very reliable information that they are weaponizing for a Christmas Day massacre. I am imploring the Nigerian government and President Donald Trump to take action so we do not witness a mass killing of Christians in Nigeria.”

DAILY POST has reported on Tuesday that the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke and the Osun State All Progressives Congress, APC, Governorship Campaign Council exchanged accusations over a wave of violence reported in parts of Osun State, as both sides called for security intervention and investigations into the incidents.
The allegations followed reports of attacks and shootings in Osogbo, Ede and Ile-Ife, with the state government, the APC and the Accord offering differing accounts of the disturbances and assigning responsibility to rival political groups.
Addressing an emergency press briefing in Osogbo, Governor Adeleke condemned the coordinated attacks by political thugs allegedly associated with the governorship campaign of APC governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO.
However, the Osun APC Governorship Campaign Council rejected the governor’s claims and accused supporters of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Accord of orchestrating attacks against APC members and campaign assets.
Meanwhile, the Accord through a statement signed by its Osun State Chairman, Pastor Victor Babalola Akande, alleged that armed thugs allegedly linked to the APC governorship campaign carried out shootings in parts of Osogbo and Owode-Ede, resulting in casualties and injuries.
