The naira rebounded with significant gains against the dollar at the official market on Monday, recovering from losses recorded on Friday, October 17, 2025.
Data from the Central Bank of Nigeria showed that the naira appreciated to N1,465.29 per dollar on Monday, up from N1,475.35 on Friday.
This indicates that the naira strengthened by N10.06 against the dollar compared to the previous week’s closing rate.
At the black market, however, the naira remained stable at N1,500 per dollar on Monday, the same rate as on Friday.
NAIJAJINGLES reports that last week, the naira had depreciated by N20.18 against the dollar on a week-on-week basis.
