NNPP Leader Kwankwaso Comments on Nigerian Inability To Fight Insecurity
The leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movements and the 2023 Presidential Candidate of the NNPP, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has accused the Government of President Tinubu of lacking in political will to fight insecurity.
Kwankwaso, who was speaking in Kano, Tuesday, while unveiling the new 2000 Neighborhood Security Network by the Government of Kano, said, “President Tinubu should rise to the occasion and answer his Commander In Chief name to tackle the problems of insecurity.”
The NNPP National Leader, said the Nigeria Military remains one of the most gallant military formations that have fought at several global war like Dafur, Liberia, and many other places, however the government is not doing what is supposed to do to make them fight gallantly.
He said today many Nigerians are being killed innocently and their killers get away with their atrocities as if nothing happened. “The Government must apologize to Nigerians for their laxity in the fight against insecurity”.
“When I was Defense Minister, I knew the strength of the Nigeria Military. They are courageous, we need some semblance of Political Wills to make them do the needful”
Historically, the Nigerian Military were the best that served across the globe and not only did well but came out with flaying colors as the best. President Tinubu should rise to the occasion and equip them with all they required to change the narratives.”
Dr Musa Kwankwaso, explained that should he become the President of the Nation come 2027, he will ensure the recruitment of over one million military personnel.
He said, any government that fails to protect lives and properties, that government have woefully failed and has no business being in government.
The NNPP Presidential hopeful, noted that the federal government must works extra mile to incorporate the kind of the Kano Neighborhood Security Network into the Military to boost not only their morals but to ensure together they tackle the problems.

Morocco Winners of AFCON 2025, Strips Senegal of Title
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced Morocco as winners of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The CAF Appeal Board ruled in favour of Morocco, declaring that Senegal forfeited the AFCON final by walking off the field during the game.
Morocco were awarded a 3–0 walkover victory.
This decision upholds Morocco’s appeal following the chaotic events in the match.
DAILY POST recalls that the Senegal team briefly walked off the pitch in protest after a controversial penalty was awarded to Morocco late in regulation time.
They were called back to the field by their captain, Sadio Mané, and later won the game 1–0.
CAF determined that this action constituted a violation of Article 84, or the equivalent regulations concerning refusal to play or abandoning the field.
Under AFCON rules, a team that refuses to continue playing or leaves the field without authorization faces elimination and forfeiture of the match.

BREAKING NEWS: 3 security Agent Slump During Soludo’s 2nd Term Inauguration
A total of three operatives of different security agencies in Anambra State collapsed during the inauguration of Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, on Tuesday.
The incident happened during the parade at the Dr Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka.
The three operatives are one male police operative, another male operative of the Directorate of State Services (DSS) and a female operative of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC.
The police operative collapsed first, followed by the NSCDC operative, who slumped towards the end of the event and was later escorted to an ambulance, after she refused to be moved in a stretcher.
A source said the police operative was later resuscitated, but was still not stable, and was taken in an ambulance to Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Amaku Awka.
The collapse of the service officers was attributed to fatigue and the long period of parade under harsh sunny weather.
