Rev Dachomo Alleges, ‘Muslims I Sheltered, Fed, Killed My Grandmother, Removed Her Heart’ –
The Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations, COCIN, in Barkin Ladi local government area of Plateau State, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, has narrated a frightful experience he encountered in the hands of some Muslim people he sheltered and fed.
In a video with Equipping the Persecuted shared on X (formerly Twitter), Rev Dachomo, narrated how he took compassion on some stranded Muslims and provided accommodation and food for them, but they turned around to pay him back in the most horrendous manner by killing his grandmother, removed her heart.
He alleged that the family also committed all sorts of atrocious acts despite his kindness to them.
“I bought foodstuffs with my money to feed them in my house, and they used the church to pray to Allah. Is that not live?” he said.
“And these same people were the ones who killed my grandmother and removed her heart. The same people killed my uncle and removed his tongue. The same people burned my best friend, my childhood friend, his wife, and his five children.
“Why is it that one side is supplying peace and the other side does not believe in peace, especially from the Islamic perspective? They don’t want to give us peace. They have been coming to our village to live with us, but in the end, they attacked us mercilessly, which led to the killing of my grandmother.
“And they have been visiting that village on and on to attack us but we have never visited their Ruga area to carry out attacks on them.
“The same Almajirai who rely on the generosity of Christian communities are often the ones weaponised to attack those very communities whenever violence erupts. No matter how kind you are, they’re conditioned not to see you as human.
“My question is: why is it that the Christians are always the ones ready to supply peace while the Muslims are not ready to supply peace? Even on my land, they have grabbed the land. To go and retrieve the land will be a case.
“I appeal to the Senate Committee to do what they can do; they know what they can do but they will not do it. But I am praying that God should lead the Committee to present on this security matter to allow us to return to our lands that have been grabbed by terrorists. We have been silent for too long and we will not keep silent again.
“And those who have been going to America to say there is no genocide in Plateau State, let us wait and see how God will handle them. Their breath is in the hands of God Almighty. God knows how to handle them for lying.”

Morocco Winners of AFCON 2025, Strips Senegal of Title
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced Morocco as winners of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The CAF Appeal Board ruled in favour of Morocco, declaring that Senegal forfeited the AFCON final by walking off the field during the game.
Morocco were awarded a 3–0 walkover victory.
This decision upholds Morocco’s appeal following the chaotic events in the match.
DAILY POST recalls that the Senegal team briefly walked off the pitch in protest after a controversial penalty was awarded to Morocco late in regulation time.
They were called back to the field by their captain, Sadio Mané, and later won the game 1–0.
CAF determined that this action constituted a violation of Article 84, or the equivalent regulations concerning refusal to play or abandoning the field.
Under AFCON rules, a team that refuses to continue playing or leaves the field without authorization faces elimination and forfeiture of the match.
