Men Cause 95% in Failed Marriages’ – Uche Ogbodo Posits
‘Popular Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo has shared her opinion on the major cause of divorce.
The movie star claimed that the male gender contributes 95 per cent in failed marriages.
According to her, most marriages fail because a significant number of men neglect, emotionally abuse, betray or cheat on their spouses.
On her Instagram page, she wrote, “Men contribute 95 per cent in failed marriages.
“Many marriages fail because a significant number of men neglect, cheat, devalue, emotionally harm, emotionally stress, or betray their wives.”
She added that the absence of accountability in relationships and society encourages the trend.
Uche Ogbodo is currently in her second marriage.
She married her second baby daddy, Boby Maris in October 20223 after her first marriage to Norway-based football agent, Ato Ubby, in 2013, crashed barely a year after it was contracted.

Morocco Winners of AFCON 2025, Strips Senegal of Title
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced Morocco as winners of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The CAF Appeal Board ruled in favour of Morocco, declaring that Senegal forfeited the AFCON final by walking off the field during the game.
Morocco were awarded a 3–0 walkover victory.
This decision upholds Morocco’s appeal following the chaotic events in the match.
DAILY POST recalls that the Senegal team briefly walked off the pitch in protest after a controversial penalty was awarded to Morocco late in regulation time.
They were called back to the field by their captain, Sadio Mané, and later won the game 1–0.
CAF determined that this action constituted a violation of Article 84, or the equivalent regulations concerning refusal to play or abandoning the field.
Under AFCON rules, a team that refuses to continue playing or leaves the field without authorization faces elimination and forfeiture of the match.
